We are sometimes a little suprised of incoming emails. Folks who actually work or used to work for similiar certain parties in Xi'an tend to send us their observations, remarks, rants and inside info about other groups. Great, nothing wrong with that. We love and appreciate some of that information and consider a lot of them valuable for further operations BUT some are just ridiculous.
So, if you have something interesting and real to share be our guest and you will be rewarded as always. But if you think that you can flood us with useless shit, then we must tell ya: You are wasting your time. Have a cup of tea and relax. Here is the golden email address once again for your personal development: and pleasure: info@newdynasty.com.cn.

Wow, that was a big break since the last ND Note! That doesn`t mean that nothing happened on ND since the last one. On the absolute contrary as our loyal readership can see every day!
The Chinese spring festival is over since quite a time now. Yup. It is loved and hated at the same time (ah...the noise of fireworks 24h a day...we love it! And those with little kids at home who try to sleep, love it even more.) but it is exciting and interesting at all times!
We hope that you all had a more or less relaxing and exciting spring festival in China! The year of the tiger - the year of changes welcomes you. Here comes a short, fast and painless resume of the past couple of weeks and a small view into the future.

So...it's time for a new ND Note! A LOT of things are happening right now in Xi'an and it keeps us busy the whole day. Progress and advance all the way along!
We luv it! First of all, thanks to all those thousands of visitors who follow us regularly.
Thanks to our valued subscribers and customers who are with us. Thank you for your trust, feedback and your valued interest! ND is rightly known as an extremely sophisticated and the most progressive platform in Xi'an for expats and locals alike. We never stand still, be sure of that. Here we go with a few upcoming highlights:

Niccolo Machiavelli (3. May 1469 – 21. June 1527) - we do not describe and quote a Spaniard this time like in a past ND note, but a great and world famous philosopher and writer from Florence who shaped the world as well. He lived in the beautiful city Florence in todays known Italian Republic.
At that time Italy (that's what we call it today, but did not existed as a national construct at that time; it was divided into city-states) was occupied and controlled by the Spanish Empire, Holy Roman Empire and France (France - which was much weaker than Spain but slowly on its way to an emerging power; Spain dominated and influenced almost all of western Europe in that age and even much longer half of the world for almost 430 years). He wrote that "the ends justify the means", a decisive sentence that is ever used and also misused since then.

The Xi'an International City Wall Marathon is a relatively large event in Xi'an. It is insofar special because it is being completely held on the ancient city wall. That is quite unique and gives a special flair for this event. Not only almost all local universities and expats took part (Jiatong University took part with a large group!) in the run but also many expats and locals from other chinese cities who came all the way to Xi'an to participate in the City Wall Marathon.
It is an attractive event for a lot of runners in Xi'an and beyond! The run is held on the first Saturday of November every year. Well in fact, it is not really a Marathon (42 km). Actually it has a distance of 13,7 km and that is equal to the circumference of the Xi'an City Wall which was built in the early Ming Dynasty over 600 years ago. ND TV produced a report about this event which took place on the last week end on 7. November and we managed to be the first media provider in Xi'an to publish a report about the run in the city on that very day. We want to thank all runners and spectators who took part in our report and hope to see you on our upcoming events!

A short addition as promised from our ND Movie Night: on 27. September, when we organized our first event for the local and expat community in Xi'an. We showed great ND short movie productions and featured the great western artist and musician Neil Farrell and his Partner George, who sang a couple of songs for us.
To read more about our first ND Movie Night click here. Below the promised photographs of that event with Neil Farrell + partner in action! Soon there will be a second Night! Watch out for it and follow our updates. It will be well visited and as always we will have nice and valuable surprises for you at the end! Thanks and see you soon!
