Kong Han Rui is a newcomer in Xi'ans music scene. She is a solo performer and plays mostly at the HUTONG Bar (Opposite to the Howard Johnson Ginwa Plaza Hotel) in Xi'an at the moment. Did you want to be a singer since childhood? When did you realize that singing was your mission?

Since childhood I wanted to be a singer like Nola Johnson and Kelly Marlow. I am a great fan of them and their music and that influenced and still does influence my music and inspiration today. My parents are no musicians and I had to reject the notion of pursuing a career in music at the beginning, that´s why i finished my studies first, my parents were happy then and nothing could hold me after it!  On my own initiative i learnt to play guitar and piano by an extraordinary teacher and it pays off for me. I love my guitar and cannot live without it!

Muzzy is a promising newcomer in Xi'ans music scene. He represents a new generation of chinese artists who believe that interaction between styles and walking new paths can change our understanding for life and music and create new ways. We met Muzzy in his favourite hang out in Gao Xin and asked him a couple of questions. Thanks Muzzy for taking time for NEW DYNASTY.! First of all, what is your artist name and where and when were you born? I was born in Kunming on a sunny day in 1987.

I am originally a student of Astrophysics in Xi'an but i decided to develop my career as a singer and music artist now and to quit the paths of science. It is just not my thing. I have always enjoyed music ever since I was a little child. I perform under the name of Muzzy. Muzzy is a japanese comic character and i find it particulary cute so, that's why i choosed it! My fans love it! Are you influenced by anyone or a specific style? I like Trance Music a lot, but also pop music as well as electronic. I take much inspiration out of R'n'B and Rock and Pop.
